June was jam packed with FU outings!  We started off huge at Celebrate Fairfax playing right after Naughty By Nature, Rob Base, and the Sugar Hill Gang.  As you can see from the photos and the video, we brought it, and they liked it!




Next up, we had another sweatfest at RiRa.  The place was very crowded and very humid.  The packed house was quite a FU achievement, given that we just played RiRa two weeks prior.  Thanks to everyone in the FU Army!

We had full crowd participation (see photo) and also drew a number of people who had seen us just a week before at  Celebrate Fairfax.  Photos are up here!



FU also ran a rock marathon (sort of) by playing three full sets at Friday Night Live and then heading to Ned Devine's for two sets.

If you missed FNL, you really missed out, because FU had a bevy of special guests that blew the crowd away!  Big Thank FUs to Sunny Trippel (former FU), Mike Webb (Gonzo's Nose), Dustin Lucas (US Navy Sea Chanters), Brian Dobbs (Iris Divine), Brendan DeMarr (Mut Tyger), and Mark Campayno (School of Rock)!

Part two of our double-header took us to Ned Devine's where we Chaliced up a storm!  By the end of the night each FU lost approximately 10 lbs!  Good times!

You will not get any local FU during July because we are on the road! 

Yes, FU is headed out for a three-night stand at the Beer Barrel Saloon in Put-in-Bay Ohio!


If we survive our Ohio trip, we end July at the Cozumel Grill in Buffalo NY!  The three Buffalo-bred FUs have been angling for a gig where they would be paid in Buffalo wings for quite some time. 

Now is their time to shine!

Do not despair loyal FU Army, we are back at Ned's in Centerville on 8/1 and RiRa on 8/8 and we will have lots of good stories for you about our wild adventures!  Until then, you must keep up with out exploits on the FU Twitter page!
